We find leaders who move the mission forward.

Executive search, built on judgment — not just a database.

Crestpoint Executive Partners is a retained search and board advisory firm for organizations who need the right leader, not just a slate of candidates. Discreet. Disciplined. Accountable to the outcome.

Retained Search Board & Governance Advisory Succession Planning Confidential By Default
What We Do

Three disciplines. One standard.

01

Executive Search

Retained search for C-suite and senior leadership roles, run on a confidential, disciplined process from mandate to close.

02

Board & Governance

Independent director and board-chair placements, plus governance and committee-composition advisory.

03

Succession Planning

Leadership-pipeline assessment and succession mapping so critical roles are never a surprise vacancy.

How We Work

A disciplined process, run by one partner start to finish.

01

Mandate & Scoping

We align with the board or hiring executive on the role and what “right” actually looks like before any outreach begins.

02

Market Mapping

Deep research across the full landscape of qualified leaders — not just the obvious names already on LinkedIn.

03

Assessment & Reference

Structured interviews and off-list reference calls to pressure-test fit, not just credentials.

04

Offer & Onboarding

We stay engaged through offer negotiation and the first 90 days, because the search isn’t done until the hire sticks.

Track Record

Measured by retention, not just placement.

About The Firm

Built by search professionals, for boards who can’t afford a miss.

Crestpoint Executive Partners was founded by Edward James after two decades running searches inside larger, generalist firms — watching too many placements look right on paper and fail in practice within eighteen months. Crestpoint was built to fix that: smaller mandate load per partner, deeper reference work, and a refusal to hand off a search to junior researchers once the mandate is signed.

We are intentionally not the largest firm in the market. We are trying to be the one our clients call first.

Discretion, by default

Confidentiality isn’t a policy line — it’s the operating condition of every search, for both the hiring organization and every candidate we approach.

Partner-led, start to finish

The partner who takes the mandate runs the search personally — sourcing, interviews, references, and close — with no hand-off to a research desk.

Fit over pedigree

We screen for how a leader will actually operate inside your organization’s specific pressures, not just the shine of a resume.

Accountable to retention

We measure ourselves on whether a placement is still thriving two years later — not on the day the offer letter is signed.

Leadership & Team

Six people. Every mandate, personally run.

No search at Crestpoint is handed off to a research desk.
